Hristo Mladenov - user of most of their products and especially participant in each information campaign

What are the benefits of the project ?

For me, information campaigns are essential because I have a vision problem, and this creates a lot of difficulties in my daily life, because I live alone.I would very much like to share how Bg Assist informed me about the Be My Eyes application, which turned out to be the most useful thing in my daily life. This application is a social platform that connects visually impaired users and a network of over 1,700,000 volunteers from 150 countries. Visually impaired users like me want help from a sighted volunteer who is notified on their phone. As soon as he accepts the request for assistance, an audio and video connection is established between the two parties.Visually impaired people can ask for any type of assistance - from understanding the shelf life of a product, to consulting on the colors of the selected clothes.

What were the constraints faced by the company ?

In my opinion, it is very difficult for the information to reach everyone who would find it useful

Which advice would give to another company ?

I would advise everyone who works with people with visual impairments to get acquainted with the new digital solutions to facilitate the daily lives of these people, as well as to be more interested in devices and software products to help them in the workplace, because there are many solutions, as long as we have the information about their existence

What are the next steps?

I look forward to the next webinars on the topic of web accessibility, because I learn something useful every time
