Description
In 2020, The Green Web Foundation is a recognized not-for-profit organisation registered in the Netherlands, that is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers located in Germany and The Netherlands. Their strategy is simple: they use the existing protocols of the internet to understand where infrastructure is run, when they speak to the people running it to see how how they power it. They then make these answers easy to look up, providing free online tools, APIs and open datasets, and helping people incorporate this information into their own services and analysis.

What are the benefits of the project ?
From my point of view, the benefits are not only related to the global changes of which we are a part and we should look for eco-initiatives to implement in our business, but the benefits specifically for our organization were mostly related to the audit it offers. company. This was very useful for us.
What were the constraints faced by the company ?
In my opinion, this type of service is not very well known and one of the main obstacles is that it is not popular enough. I personally accidentally found the company's website while doing a completely different search on the Internet for eco products and the company's website came out by accident.
Which advice would give to another company ?
I would like to share with a number of local companies about this type of initiative, so that they can also take advantage of such products or direct their efforts to develop similar ones.
What are the next steps?
We have already passed the first part with company audit, we are now in the process of discussing when we can take advantage of our proposed training of employees
