New digital service for deaf people to call TIM's assistance operators and talk with them in Italian Sign Language. TIMinLIS it's a new service of technical assistance promoted by TIM in collaboration with VEASYT (https://www.veasyt.com/). VEASYT srl is a spin-off of the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice born in 2012 to enhance the skills of the Department of Linguistic and Comparative Cultural Studies in the field of linguistic and sensory accessibility. VEASYT offers professional video-interpreting service, accessible multimedial guide in cultural places, multimedia translation service. Privately used, VEASYT is a communication "bridge" between the deaf person and the other person/the meeting/the visit... he or she want to participate to. It allow to make videocalls and find an available sign language interpreter. VEASYT is used by TIM in order to allow the communication between deaf clients and TIM's operators.
