A project manager is responsible for taking ownership of the project objectives and using his or her expertise and skills to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team. His main role is to oversee the project from its conception to the expected results.
The main responsibilities of a project manager are to
- Plan. Develops the strategy to be adopted and how to achieve it.
- Establish and manage the budget.
- Leading. Ensures a team is assembled and leads it.
- Executes and participates actively in each stage of the project.
- Ensure that time is managed and that the project progresses smoothly.
- Ensure that a follow-up plan is in place after the project is completed.
