Which of these three text messages is inclusive ?

The first text message is not inclusive because it contains full words in capital letters, two acronyms (FYI and am), and emojis which are not translated.
The second text message is not inclusive because it contains the substantive « cleaning lady ». This formulation creates a distinction of people’s occupation by gender. To have an inclusive language, you should prefer the words « housekeeper » or « cleaner ».
The third text message is inclusive : the sentences are simple and precise. To avoid the acronym « am » but still be precise about the time, the formulation « at 8 tomorrow morning » is better than the formulations of messages 1 and 2. The beginning of each sentence is capitalized but there are no entire capital sentences. The word « housekeeper » is used instead of « cleaning lady ».

The chat can be a tool to share data with all your collaborators and to facilitate the understanding by people with disabilities. For example, write proper names, addresses and numbers in the chat. Do not put emojis without translating them. As for the subtitles, you can activate automatic live-captions or ask for an external service to write them, but not in the chat ! The subtitles must appear on the video of the video call.
