Another benefit for going green is obvious but needs to be repeated: it helps the environment.
Aside from the purely economic reasons to go green, this is an important step in preserving the earth for the long term.

According to AGU (American Geophysical Union): "Based on extensive scientific evidence, it is extremely likely that human activities, especially emissions of greenhouse gases, are the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century. There is no alterative explanation supported by convincing evidence." (2019).
ACS (American Chemical Society) states: “The Earth’s climate is changing in response to increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs) and particulate matter in the atmosphere, largely as the result of human activities." (2016-2019).

It's important to remember that scientists always focus on evidence, not opinion. Scientific evidence continues to show that human activities (primarily the burning of fossil fuels) have warmed the Earth's surface and ocean basins, which in turn affects the Earth's climate.

So it is everybody´s task to contribute to the reduction of CO2 and other gases, including individuals, communities, governments at all levels and of course, businesses. This is one of the key reasons why so many companies have embraced the concept of being environmentally friendly. By cutting down on emissions and waste they would help the environment. Not only is it good for the bottom line, it's good for the planet. It's something that can make shareholders and your own conscience happy.

That´s why it is even of more importance to make a stand in a digital project, raising our customers ‘awareness as well as reducing digital pollution.
